STEELCONITE: Is a product available in fine grains of uniform size and is mainly used for the constructions of Industrial floors, Dam, Railway Platform, Canal lining etc. Which are subject to heavy corrosion and damages due to movement of trollys and other heavy vehicles.
STEELCONOITE : Is mettalic aggregate and is mainly used for the topping of the floor. The thickness may vary as per requirement. The minimum thickness will be 1/2" (12mm.) and the maximum will be 1" (25 mm.) and in special cases thickness can be more.
STEELCONITE : Is dust less, wearproof, waterproof and greaseproof. It is thus recommended for all sorts of heavy duty floor surface as well as Canal linings, workshop, floors, where the water runs in high velocity.

Composition of Topping :- Heavy Duty Floor
One part of âSTEELCONITEâ and Cement, initially mixed in dry condition in the proportion of 1:4 by weight, should be mixed with two parts of 1/4â size stone chips/granite. Thereafter necessary amount of water should be added.
2.25 kg. Approx STEELCONITE per sq.mtr. is required for 1/2â thickness, i.e. Approx 23 kg of this metallic hardener is required for 10Sq.mtr. area 50 kg âSteelconiteâ is approximate required for 10 Sq.mtr. area for 1" thickness.
METHOD OF APPLICATION :
How to apply : The Surface as to be treated, is well cleaned by hard brush and all foreign materials will have to be removed. Surface should be properly wet by plain water and thereafter one coat of cement slurry in thick viscocity will have to provided, then after 24 hrs. Curing is needed before the layings of 'Steelconite' topping. After the laying, the surface should be properly trowelled to make the same even and uniform. Further 24hrs. Continuous curring at least for 10 days will be required either by soaked gunny bag or by accumulating water.
